 A clutch of future managers in that Norwich team: The legendary Ron Ashman, who managed City themselves as well as Scunthorpe, Sammy Chung and Roy McCrohan who asssited Tommy Docherty and other managers in a long spell at Aston Villa. The sight of Norwich facing the prospect of the re-election process at the foot of the Football League is an edifying sight to behold when considering the status and the structure of the club nowadays...................something all those contemptious of lower league football should always bear in mind.
