This programe brought memories.It was the first time I saw a player sent off in the football league.Alf Wood the goalie sent off,only playing because Matthews was playing for England, didnt agree with the ref when asked to leave the pitch so he picked up the match ball and kicked it straight out of the ground into Marnham Road and stormed off not a happy bunny.
