Thanks Dave... you know how much I enjoy editing the programme pages and sharing the old Torquay United bits & pieces on here with everyone. (And hopefully a couple of good ones to come...)
But my day is tempered by the fact that if Bucks had sat in the peace & quiet of the boardroom whilst working away at transfers yesterday, and used the boardclock on the wall that I donated as his timekeeper, well... he would've thought at 4 o'clock he still had an hour to go when in fact is was already five... Problem is, I haven't got around to adjusting it away from Summer time! I have bared my soul and admitted all elsewhere. Now instead of a day in Cornwall with my lovely wife I envisage a darkened room with self-flagellation, my only solace being stale bread washed down with intemperate water from the slosh bucket before an evening wearing a hair-shirt...
Only kidding... He'd use his own watch... wouldn't he?
