I was reminded, in a very pleasant way, on Saturday that we live in a small world and the TFF brings people together who have been connected in some way many years ago. I was chatting with Jon when Ricardo came over to say hello. Ricardo asked me where I lived in Furzeham because I commented on Dave's pictures of Ant's game. I told him that I had lived in Nelson Road and he replied that he had lived in Cumber Drive. I immediately remembered a lovely girl that I went out with when I was 11 (not that long ago ). i described the route from Nelson Road, along the old railway track and then the path through to Cumber Drive. I noticed a smile coming on Ricardo's face but continueed anyway. I described walking along the path and that she lived in the first house on the right and had a swimming pool. well blow me down, it was only Ricardo's sister I was really made up inside and pleased to hear about her. I lost contact with so many friends from primary school because not only did i go to Churston Grammar School but we also moved to Paignton. I'd love to meet up with all of them again but I haven't seen a reunion for Furzeham. Thanks Ricardo, you brightened my day, especially after such a bad game

It is a small world, Stuart, and glad I made your day! I will mention our chat to my sister when I see her and let you know what she says!! I am pleased that even at such a tender age she had the good sense to go out with a Gull!
