Just read about Carayol being offered a month in the Gambia to train with the national squad and how he rejected the offer.

Does anyone think Buckle's selection may have been influenced by this, as he has been starting him alot of late. Perhaps Buckle thought he should be playing him to make sure he wants to stay here. If he did then it worked!!!

I do not think It had anything to do with Bucks, more a case that Carayol, has been getting into the squad and wants to keep his place. He Is new here and he will know he will get plenty more chances to play for Gambia.

I would hope he would see that staying here and playing his part, to turn around the poor start to the season, Is at this time far more important.
