I can only contragulate the Paul and the guys on a huge achievement so far. 11 matches in the league without conceding a goal is one I never expected to see at Plainmoor ever!. One more match and we will be up at dizzy heights. how many clubs are we in company with who have gone nearly 1,000 minutes without letting a goal in. Further than that. If you include the cup match with Reading, How many minutes can we go with only conceding one goal . Now surely there is a record for that one too. Come on Guys. Not only do we want to wrest the record away from Reading but I would dearly love it if we could gain the overal record away from Manu as well. it's now a realistic possibility. Onward and upward. Cooommmee on yoooooooo yelllooowwws One very very pleased Glostergull ;D ;D ;D

Your sure sound happy and pleased glostergull and who knows just how much longer we can keep this record going. I would hope for many more games to come but should it end in our next game it will still have been one hell of an achievement and one the lads should rightly be proud of.

As we all know a team will score against us.
However i think the legacy of this run will continue long after that first goal is conceded.
Our back line is well organized and well drilled, and think will not concede to many goals across the whole season.
yesterday i think Bradford had just 1 shot on goal, from a defensive point of view, amazing at any level.

its a fantastic achievement and is not going un-noticed by the powers to be.We have already done something exceptional, whatever next game. You have got to hand it PB,he has slowly been building his squad the way he wants it,he is almost certainly being watched, how long he stays with us now god only knows?

This is a once in a lifetime event its very unlikely any of us will witness such an exceptional feat in our lifetimes, its that unique so lets treasure it while it lasts and applaud the team and management when it does inevitably end. Paul Buckle is will on the way to becoming the most successful manager in the history of the club - where have the Buckle Out brigade gone? This has to be one of the most difficult clubs to manage and be successful when you consider the resources and locality of our rivals and it will not have gone unnoticed further up the pecking order. Keep your head down Paul your time will come.

He will surely want to finish this off. As you mentioned, he has spent the last few years building up a side that he wants, got them playing the way he wants and delivering the kind of results that he wants. Why would he spend all that time and energy, and the grief, getting exactly what he wants and then leave before it comes to fruition. There is no doubt that if he carries on like this he will be moving onto bigger and better things, but right now he must believe he has a side that he can take a long way.

I see from the Herald that we are approaching 400 minutes without conceding a goal which is going some but not in anyway comparative to this previous run. Well done to the defence and particularly to our loanee keeper though and long may it continue!
Hopefully we can draw some parallels to that season where a strong finish saved us from relegation and then continued into the next! Funny enough, Isn't that what Leicester are doing?
