OK three games don't make a season, but we are only 8 points from the top spot. We seem to be playing as a team now and on a winning run. So do you know have better feelings for the rest Of the season?

 Just as I said they would, given time to gel and get used to one another. This squad is good enough to challenge for the title and now the moaners, groaners, barrackers and critics of the manager can take a back seat and cut the cack! There's even some very good players not getting into the team at the moment, players like Dsane, Nicholson, Brough and Green would walk into most other BSP teams.

I have only seen them play twice this season so far, but the team I watched yesterday was head and shoulders above the one that played against Northwich. I thought Wroe had an excellent game and Hargreaves was showing his defensive skills and drive, saving us in many a dangerous situation, and Thompson ran them ragged. Tim Sills will score goals again, once Nicholson is back in the team! Tim's strength is his heading ability and not his feet! We are playing more attractive football with the ball on the ground and we did pass the ball around well yesterday but it was against a team chasing the game and thus allowing us the space. If we can play with a bit more width and especially with Nicholson's ability to put the ball on Tim's head in set pieces we will be a team to be reckoned with, and a play off place will be there for the talking at least! Pre Christmas 2008 we scored almost at will, from every corner we won thanks to the Nicholson/Sills combination. All we need now is to convince Paul Buckle to play him!

HI Paul, nice to see you back on the forum again, I have to agree with everything you said, lets hope we keep playing the way we did yesterday.

Hi Dave,
Have just returned from three months away in the states doing a coast to coast cycle ride, hence not been on the site. Glad to be back and although this will probably be the kiss of death, they've played three, won three since my return! Oh well, thats put the mockers on it!!

Well a big well done Paul, that sounds like a mighty feat that you achieved, sure you will notice how different the site looks now than before you went away. Don't worry we are on the up, nothing Is going to stop us now.
