So Harold Kellow qualified from the Swedish Message and Electrical Institute in Leatherhead. Good grief, the mind boggles. Did that qualify him to install our first floodlights as well?

Harry Smith really was out of position at left half - it is worth mentioning that 201 of Harry's 202 first team appearances were at left back! He did play left wing in the Holsworthy friendly though!
I think I have mentioned the 1930s incarnation of the A team here before. I'm pretty sure they only played friendlies - has anyone got any old SDL tables to double-check?
Beesands Rovers in the semi-final of the Devon Senior Cup. We've come across them a few times in the 50s and 60s battling against our A team for SDL titles and Herald Cups.
How come Beesands were so big in those days? What went wrong?
