It was good to bump into Aussie after the Argyle game.
I'm please to report that he is looking well and won a few quid on the World Cup which he has invested in a new man fork which he then chopped bits off to turn it in to a lady fork.
He says hello to all his friends on here.

I'm missing logging on in the morning and finding that Aussie has already given me something to think about for the day! . Come back Aussie and join in again. I don't expect you to know the location of the lay-by's Dave puts up as quiz posers but I loved your musings on life, even if sometimes bordering on eccentric. Life is a rich tapestry of personalities and so should this forum be (tempered of course by respect for individuals and individual views). Go on give it another go, I'm missing the proudly fluttering flag!

I sent Aussie a text message this morning to let him know a thread had been started about him, I could have saved myself the effort as he told me he still reads the TFF every day.
So as I know he will read this rather than put it all in a text message I’ll put my reply here.
Aussie from the very beginning of the TFF you have been a member and have always supported everything we have done from carverys to raising money etc. You have made many good friends on the TFF and many speak to you at the games and I’m sure everyone on here felt you were just one of us and belonged to our community.
We are a community made up of so many different people and it’s always going to be the case there will be people we like and some we might not, it’s no different in the work place or for that matter in nearly anywhere where there is a largish group of people.
On a forum you simply ignore and not reply to the people you may not like and don’t let them wind you up, if you don’t bite they soon get bored. Letting things get so bad you start harbouring ill feelings toward anyone is not how it’s supposed to be and it should never happen as nothing is ever really meant in a personal way, it just seems to end up getting taken that way.
You always enjoyed using the forum and all you have done is put yourself on the outside and ended up punishing the other members who enjoyed reading your rants. No one on here bears any bad feelings toward you and if you think they do then sorry mate it’s only in your head.
Anyway after reading Stefano’s post at work before I set off for Weymouth, I got in the van and just as I was driving off Sarah Kennedy announced the show tune for Friday was I still call Australia Home by Aussie boy, seemed like a bit of a omen to me mate.

A very warm welcome back Aussie. I assume this is the practical session of your 'Anger Management Course'. Hope it goes well. Careful what you get involved with though, I am staying well clear of some of it at the moment!!

Well I did smile at one football reporter who said that Germany had scored four goals against one very poor team, one average team, and one very good team, and he would leave it for England and Australia to argue between themselves which was the poor team ;D

The poor team was the one with the over-rated under-achievers, premiership stars from all the big clubs that didn`t bother and don`t care, not us! Apparently the Premiership players can`t play international football, look at the stats, all the impressive teams had players from outside the Prem and they played brilliantly but teams who were made up of mainly Prem players bummed out big time, were too knackered and play the wrong shape thus getting pounded by the likes of Germany, Holland and Spain, not to mention Argentina and Brazil. I know what I would rather watch and 4-4-2 is not the way forward and over-paid, over-rated, over-pampered glory boys don`t do it for me, this is why I have always slagged off the Premiershite because it isn`t the best league in the world just the most spoilt for cash because of Sky! All the greedy flies hovering around a mound of shit is all it is about! Mull that one over peeps!

All the greedy flies hovering around a mound of shit is all it is about! Mull that one over peeps! The boy is back, and the boy is right this time I'm not going to say it is just Sky that made the Premiership so cash rich, but it certainly helped a bunch of money-grabbing owners offer ridiculous sums of money to hugely over-rated players, both from this country to give them little motivation to perform for their country and allowed them to bring in foreign imports to further weaken the pool of domestic players who might actually be able to help the National team. Just reading about the £35m contract Wayne Rooney is about to get from Man Screw made me physically sick yesterday. The pug managed to huff and puff his way through four games at the World Cup without basically touching the ball, and he will be allowed to carry on doing it on £140,000 a week. It makes me sick, and that is coming from a club that is £700m in frigging debt! They should be thrown out of the bloody league as far as I am concerned. As for the Aussies themselves, well they were utter pants in the first game against Germany, but we proved how good they were later in the tournament, didn't we lol. I see the official World Cup rankings had England in 13th place, with the Aussies in 21st, which is probably fair on performances - at least the Socceroos beat off the All Whites from New Zealand, who did have the thrill of being the only unbeaten team in the tournament, as well as previous European Champions Denmark (24th), Greece (25th) and the powerhouses of Italy (26th) and France (28th). Welcome back Aus and good to see you last night, and since Jon told me your new way of controlling your temper, best of luck with the Adult PM system

Would have been rude not to...
Aussie returns to TFF... Australia call a General Election three weeks after a new PM takes over... Australia Day wins the first race at Market Rasen to cheers from the Capitalgull corner...
That's what I call a G'day!
