I'm a bit conflicted. Born in Nigeria so i would like them to be the 1st african nation to lift the world cup but can't see it happening in the real world. England have dissappointed me so often after filling me with hope and anticipation only to be let down by a bunch of overpaid show ponies. I hope we do it and think Capello is definitely the manager for the job, but are the players good enough?
For me it's got to be Spain. I had them in the sweepstake for the Euros so was delighted when they won it. They have the players who now understand what it takes to win a big tournament. Anything can happen as the Aussies found out against the cheating wops last time around. But barring controversy i think Spain are the team to get your money on.
But, before you all go rushing out to put your 10p on the nose just remember i know feckall about football!
