A British Railways poster/handbill for the Birmingham City supporters travelling down for the FA Cup 3rd round game at Plainmoor played on the 7th of January 1956. A game that ended in a great win for the Brummies having put seven goals past United with just the one in reply, all in front of a crowd of 18,730 many of whom would enjoy the train journey back afterwards! Playing for Birmingham that day was Gordon Astall who, of course, then finished his career at Plainmoor. The programme is available to read in the programme Room.
