A British Railways poster/handbill for the Birmingham City supporters travelling down for the FA Cup 3rd round game at Plainmoor played on the 7th of January 1956. A game that ended in a great win for the Brummies having put seven goals past United with just the one in reply, all in front of a crowd of 18,730 many of whom would enjoy the train journey back afterwards!
Playing for Birmingham that day was Gordon Astall who, of course, then finished his career at Plainmoor.
