As you may had read on the forum, StuartB wife made Carol a lovely card with a dolphin on It So I was asked If Carol had ever touched a dolphin and yes she did, If you are ever in Holland this Is a great place to go. The Entrance Here was a seal show, It was done in a story fashion, with an old keystone cop in It, I will let you into a secret, I found It so wonderful I cried all the way through It. The main Dolphin show was In here, but I used my video camera so only this photo. There Is also a great outdoor show. This big boy I just loved.

Dave, Just browsing through my "back catalogue" of holiday snaps, and I discovered this little gem. About 4 years ago Sal and I went to Barcelona for a city break, and we visited their fantastic zoo. Once home to the world's ONLY albino gorilla - "Snowflake", the facilities at Barca Zoo are the best I have (personally) ever seen. One attraction which proves very popular with visitors is their dolphinarium. Shows are put on in an amphitheatre - type pool, and the public can go "below decks" as it were, to watch the dolphins swim under the water, past huge observation windows. The photo below was taken through one of these viewing windows - and I was really lucky to get this shot. Most of the public had drifted away, but suddenly, up popped this fella for a photo. Initially, I thought that I would miss a "golden opportunity" - but believe it or not, he seemed content to wait for me to get my snap - HE EVEN POSED FOR ME!! As soon as I'd taken the photo, he was gone again. I considered myself very lucky to get such a picture, but coming away, I couldn't help thinking that the little fella knew EXACTLY what he was doing........After all, they say dolphins are intelligent don't they!! Anyway, THIS ONE'S FOR CAROL. x

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that the image in the window from the other side was a mirror image so maybe he was just a poser in the other sense! Crikey, if he's just seen your ugly mug staring at him it's a wonder he hasn't turned away in fright. I speak with authority mate.....................when we were at Longleat recently one of the hippos came out of the water and said to me "darling you're back!"
