What I find amazing is so many Dutch people prefer English football to their own. I thought I would share these two photos with you, they are taken in the bedroom, of my dutch mates son (primary school age)

So a question and not for Rolf, well not yet anyway. In the second photo, what does it say on the black TUFC scarf, apart from Torquay United

They only had entertainment once a week on a Monday night and I was the only entertainer that did shows there. One Monday night I found out that Rolf had asked the owner, if he knew when the Torquay football team played and would he be able to go. The owner said ask Dave when he has finished his show, he is a fan of the club. So Rolf came to talk with me about the club and if there was a game that week. Yes tomorrow night I told him and he asked if he would need to buy a ticket and where the ground was. I said listen I'm going so I will pick you up and take you with Ant. He was shocked, that as I did not know him, I would offer to do this for him, I told him,its the English way ;D ;D. So Tuesday night I went to the hotel to pick him up and more to break the ice he came out with the following statement. Hi Dave thanks for picking me up, but I need to tell you, I don't kiss on first dates. So this has always been a joke between us, this is an honest account of why, Rolf refers to our first date

He had both hands up over his head and was clicking his fingers together in a mad fashion. I said to him "what are you doing that for Jim, he said he was doing it as it kept all the wild elephants away. I said Jim dear man there is not a wild elephant within 1000 miles. Yes he said, you can see that it works ;D ;D ;D

There can't be many more, can it? And a fan with knowledge of football, or else you would be supporting feijenoord or psv instead of the mighty Ajax! Yes, you're right Dave. I'll make it even more amazing... I know quiet a few Dutch people who have done or are doing the "92".
