I must offer my congratulations for a very fine effort to solve the Super Bumper Weekend Edition Of where have I beenBUT there is one that has not been solved the tiebreaker shot (lay-by) and the rules were they all had to be solved by my bedtime on Sunday night, I therefore declare myself the winner That's almost worse than punching the ball off the line in the last minute!

Anyone guess where - as I discovered yesterday - you can be waited upon by an Exeter City player?

Can't recall where in Exeter it is but I know Bertie Cozic opened a crepe cafe last year (that's C.R.E.P.E, not C**p!)

Where Have I Been.Only two today and both very easy, I had panned to do five in total today but due to some very sad news I received in Yeovil I was a bit too upset to think about very much other than getting my work finished and getting home. Some time ago I talked about a lady called Caroline who lived and worked in Yeovil who I have known now for nearly seven years, she was in her 30’s and best described as a very large lady but one who had a heart of gold and all the time in the world to listen to your problems. When I found out that Carol had got the cancer back Caroline was such strength and rock for me and we were always able to share our concerns and worries we both might have had. I think she felt she was going to be left on the shelf and end up a lonely old spinster, then one day she had a twinkle in her eye as she told me she had a new boyfriend. He was much older than her and I’ll just say he is a character, but he sure put the colour back into Caroline’s cheeks and it was a whirlwind romance with a date set for the wedding not that many months after they got together. The plans were all in place only one day the smile was missing from her face and she then told me why. They could not afford the £1000 being asked by the local photographers to do her wedding pictures and was faced with just having the family taking some pictures. I had recently done three families wedding shoots and had done a very good job and so told her I would go to Yeovil on her wedding day and do the photo shoots complete with video footage for free. She was over the moon with the results and I was just pleased to have been able to help make her wedding day the special day it should have been. Nine moths ago she told me she had to go into hospital to have a blood clot removed from here leg, only they sent her home without doing it as they became concerned about some test results. She then told me she had cancer and would be having chemo and so we talked many times about the treatment and I was able to give her the hope and the strength she now needed to cope with all the effects the chemo might have. She seemed to me to have handled the treatment reasonably well and we counted then down one by one until the last one was done and I just expected then to see her get stronger again. Shortly after the last treatment she became unwell and not able to come to work and each Monday and Thursday I have asked and received updates on how she was doing. All seemed very positive and only a matter of time before she would return to work; only she had kept it a secret from everyone that she had been told she only had months to live. I can understand why she did that, she is so like Carol in many ways and simply did not want people having their lives affected by worrying about her. I’m really going to miss Caroline and my time in Yeovil will never be the same as it was, cancer is such an evil and cruel thing and doe’s not care whose lives it takes, it is the one and only thing I can say I truly hate. VIP dear sweet Caroline. Dave

You've been on that road between Burton Bradstock and Abbotsbury again, haven't you? I may be going along there myself this coming Saturday...
