Had a great day out here. I passed here regularly as my grand-parents (sadly, no longer with us) lived in Silverton. the run from Silverton to Tiverton is an absolute pleasure.
We decided to have a day out and were pleasantly surprised, mainly thanks to a previous thread from our Dave.
We had lunch in the Fisherman's Cot (had to resuss the wallet
) before heading across the bridge to the trains.
It was a probably the best value for money on our entire 2 week holiday and we will return to complete Dave's walks
