I'll be meeting some of the locals at the Estonia game at Llanelli on Friday.
Any chance of a dozen withdrawals and a first cap for Toddy?
I'll also be making a trip to Milton Keynes for the England U21 match in June (but we better not tell Jon!).

We went to Llanelli to witness a pre-season friendly which saw Eifion Williams score the first (which we missed) and a certain Wes Saunders score in a 4-0 victory. Quite a tidy ground. The first ever friendly international at Llanelli but what is the reason for the honourable Barton downs to be there?

The first ever friendly international at Llanelli but what is the reason for the honourable Barton downs to be there? One of the reasons why I'll still buy the Non League Paper is that I'm friends with the bloke who does the results and his earnings subsidise off-the-wall trips to all sorts of matches. The reason for Friday night is that it's a chance to see a game at Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli's new rugby stadium. At a tenner each you can't go wrong, can you? We seem to specialise in trips to the far end of the M4 - three July jaunts in successive years to see Llanelli AFC play in three different competitions on three different grounds. Any ideas which these were? I've got an affection for the area having briefly lived in Swansea when the Swans were in the old first division. I was at that first match when they beat Leeds 5-1. A measure of when that was is that - at the time - there was a week-old baby somewhere in Swansea by the name of Christopher Todd.God, I feel old.

At which point Jon would probably make a crack about Chelston remembering the 1923/24 and 1924/25 Southern League games against Llanelly (as it was then spelt). But that's not my style.
