Looking forward to seeing my first game of the season on tuesday night. After yesterdays 2 results it should be an interesting match with one team riding high wiith confidence after recovering from 2 defeats whilst we no doubt will be a bit shaky. A repeat of last seasons performance is much hoped for...lots of commitement, great result and the natives upset...fingers crossed!!!

I was out dining last Tuesday night as you know with Stuartb and family, so I did not get to hear the game and I did not on Saturday when I watched Buckland play. So this will be my first game I will hear on BBC Radio Devon 1458. So I will be able to put up my half time views and full times one and will put up any goals as they happen on this thread. They always say to get a game so soon after a sound beating can be a good thing, a quick chance to go and put right all that was wrong in the last game. I do think that may be a big ask against Burton, having scored five goals in their last league game, I do feel our defense is going to be fully tested again in this match. I haven not checked the situation with Mansell? will he be able to play? if not who can play in that position, Robertson sure is not suited to it, but he may be the best in the end we will have to fill Mansells boots. I do hope we see Benyon start with Rendall, it really has to be worth a go as they did look good together in the pre season games together. A draw would not be a bad result after our last game, but anything can happen in a game of football and if we get it all right on the night, we could come home with all three points, stranger things have happened

I thought that too many players underperformed on Saturday and those initial battles most certainly were not won! However, we certainly had our fair share of shocking performances last season and generally bounced back the next match although it will be difficult with our third away match in a week. Many things for Buckle to ponder but I wonder if it is time for the "plan B" 4-1-4-1 formation with Hodges in front of the defence and Sills up front? We certainly looked solid using this in the first half against Plymouth. Really glad Mansell is back for this one as we have much better penetration on the right with him in. Stevens has been excellent against Burton this year but his and Carayol's performances on Saturday were really Chalk and Cheese and he will be lucky to start tonight! Note: I wonder if Ty could borrow Tim's mask?

Lets hope Benyon does well as him starting with Rendall is what I wanted to see, seems he just came close to scoring, come on Elliot.

Stevens really??
It looks horribly like the team that performed at D&R .. or rather didn't.

With you on the choice of Benyon Aunty Dave.
He made a significant impact on Saturday.
The same back 4 and Stevens seems to be either an inspirational vote of confidence or a recipe for more disaster.

Yes but I do think Benyon really deserved to start and he does seem to be doing well so far, I'm sure we will see Tim come on at some stage, even more so if we were to go behind.
