I did not know until I went to Weymouth this morning that Chris Hargreaves played on Wednesday in the youth team against Chickerell United. Chickerell is very close to the Gramby industrial estate and the Wessex Stadium. Mind you the local paper there this morning stated the United team had many first team players in it, well they would after winning three goals to nil  I would not expect him to start in the is game, but maybe get a run out in the second half. I'm sure we will see much the same line up that stated against Brighton. If you are going then if you can stick up a match report, it would really be appreciated. |

A narrow 1 - 0 win with a Joyce goal after 81 minutes. The phoney war is over  I think that makes Joyce the top scorer in the PSF's! |

I would like to have seen our players wearing black arm bands yesterday, I know we had a minutes silence, should have been a minutes applause, I don`t think it was enough, the arm bands would have said alot and the spirit in which the game was played also!

 Picture from the Sunday Independant of me and some of my mates who I went camping in Steeple with at the match. The match was ok, good for a pre-season game but not one that will last long in the memory. I do hope they do well this season and I spoke to Kevin Hill after the match and he still loves Torquay with his heart and still has the fire in his eyes that you rarely see in a player. I could go on all day off the way he showed passion but I dont have room. |

I did tell him how much we missed his passion and effort and how we could do with him back to put in those challenges and jump that high and he went red in the cheeks
