A game I'm very much looking forward too and while I want us to beat Burton in style, they are a club I have a soft spot for. We really need to get back to wining ways because if we don't and other results went against us, we could find we are back in 22nd place.
Unless we see any new faces other than Sam Cox who I can only see making the bench at best, then I would expect we will see Bucks stick to the same starting eleven who started the Chesterfield Match.
The pitch should have had plenty of time to fully recover from the recent bad weather so there should be no problems with the game going ahead.
If Bucks does feel he wants to make a change in the line up, I would think it would just be Benyon for Rendell.

I know what you mean mate every time I think about them I get that problem as well, bet your soft spot is located in a different area of anatomy to mine though!

Some very odd stats from their previous game at Port Vale news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_3/8444164.stmBurton with 4 players on the bench, Goalkeeper sent off. Losing 3-1 when Port Vale had two shots on target??!! Burton 62% of the posession, 5 shots off target and none on target. Port Vale no shots off target. What with the Plainmoor player merry-go-round it bodes for a mightily interesting game. I think we'll win 8-0 with 4 shots on target, 2 beach ball incidents, one header from a herring gull and a bicycle-kick from the referee.

Burton's goalkeeper sent off (straight red) tonight and Greg Pearson substituted after 13 minutes. On topic (almost) from last nights results was Darlo winning away at Rotherham. I know a lot of people think there is only one place left for relegation but perhaps Darlington have other ideas. Lets hope we play the same Rotherham side in a few weeks time

All this weeks activities should make the team selection interesting this week. Sills off to Stevenage and Greavsie off to Oxford (interesting that the BBC link has Buckle saying that he "thinks" he's gone to Oxford). Still a striker short to make the game change with any two from three - Zebs / Rendell / Benyon. Dare say Bucks will start with Zebs and Rendell with Benners to bring on when things are getting tough. Midfield - with Greavsie 'gone' what say either Thompson and Wroe or Wroe and Mansell. Or will he put O'Kane from the start? Wingers - Carlisle and Thomson Backs - Smith, Robbo, Charnock and Mansell. Unless Manse goes midfield in which case it would probably be Nico - Robbo - Charnock - Smith Keeper - Poke Bench - Benners / Cox / Ellis / Bevan / O'Kane / Halpin / A.N.Other Simples - nothing to worry about

In that interview, Bucks did say that Wayno was a doubt for Saturday.

Midfield is a big concern for me and just imgine it if Wroey gets a long term injury! With Greavsy gone there is a huge responsibilty for the person who fills his boots and as much as I like Tyrone as a person, a real decent bloke, he has far to many weaknesess the biggest not looking up and giving the ball away to the opposition in crucial areas. Hes nearly had his chance so maybe its time for some new blood in th eshape of O'Kane. If your good enough your old enough as the saying goes and blow this PB one for the future smoke screen out onf the water.

A delicate balancing act is being undertaken. Let's hope Fat Bloke doesn't sit on one end.

Well, i reckon the cyber terrace could be full for this one! Anyone want to join us if you can't be at the game just pm me.
I don't care if this is the worst, ugliest pile of crap game we've ever played as long as we win! A defeat will create mayhem.
So, this is a real test of Buckles man management skills to get the boys ready and up for it. Thank god we're playing Burton who have problems and not 1 of the teams in our relegation scrap or pushing fro the playoffs.

Well I'll be there tomorrow and I will give the team my total support from start to finish.
I cannot see the benefit of getting on the players backs like they did with Thompson against Brighton.
