What a dream first half that was, who would have thought we would go in at half time leading by three goals to nil. Benyon getting two and Rendell also on the score sheet, it did sound that maybe two of the goals were lucky ones, but as was said on the radio, you make your own luck.
You would expect Stockport to come out really fired up for the second half, I’m sure their manager will be giving them a right earful in the dressing room. Would be great to get another goal early in the second half, what we don’t want is for them to get an early goal and then see our boys starting to get to deep.
We need to keep up the work rate and keep playing the way we did in the first half, if we do that then I’m sure we will win the game and then we can look forward to the next FA cup game at home.

90 minutes guys, let's wait for the 2nd half.
I've seen us leading 0-3 at Moss Road before, it ended 3-3 in the end...
The saturday night life made up for those two points dropped.

Benyon sounds to be having a very good game, it shows the real advantage of having competition for places in the team. While its not the case we have competition all over the pitch, we do up front now Bucks has been playing Zebs up there.

I remembered that game about five seconds after Dave said it was money in the bank already time, but I didn't dare mention it. Kipper broke my glasses celebrating the second or third goal as well (allegedly, just to avoid him beating me up again!!!!) |
