Kim Grant, who was going to "revolutionise" the way Woking approached playing in the BSP has been fired after just seven games. Not for Grant, the basics of playing within the limits of his players' skills. No, he was going to be the "great entertainer" eschewing the very basic requirement of walking before you can run. Now he's on his bike and where does that leave the chairman's statement that he would quit if the Cards don't make the Football League within three years? BOTH men have only served to prove that talk is cheap and REAL achievement is difficult to attain. What now for Grant? Perhaps he should call his mate Leroy and see if there are any more punditry jobs going for those who are really wasting their time even applying for management jobs in the first place.
