Of all the footballing weekends this season this is one I am not looking forward to one bit. Another weekend like the last and with whats gone on or indeed hasnt gone on this week I am really starting to fear te worst. It just wouldnt surprise me if the gap was down to a mear 3 points at five tomorrow.

I usually go into a game with the usual fans high hopes tempered with a realistic expectation But i'm really not looking forward to this one. Todays results could have a pivotal effect on the rest of our season. We must at least match Grimsby. They are already effectively level on points with darlo and us to play. If they get points today and we don't then they could swing the advantage in their favour. Worrying times, but of course the vicky pollards on here will tell you everything is lovely.

Lovely it is not, David. In times like this one has to gritt one's teeth and hope that the bloody difficult is achievable. Hopefully the car will get me there.

Have a safe trip up Chris and back home again and that message goes to any other TFF member and all TUFC fans, hopefully we will get some match reports later this evening and photos from the club.
I have been deciding what I was going to do this afternoon, did I stay at home on the forum and listen to the game on the radio, or go and watch Ant play. Watching Ant would mean a short drive along the lanes to Ipplepen.
The game of coarse would be free to watch and I could take the very large Mars Milk drink that Carol thoughtfully brought home from town this morning, just in case I was watching a local game today. I would be able to hold onto the bottle top, always a big plus when you intend to make the drink last for the whole ninety minutes. Yes I can also smoke to my hearts content or I drop down dead from smoking to many, but at least I’m free to make those decisions for myself.
So if I was going to go and watch Ant play should I take my camera, the good news is if I did then no one was going to object or ask me to leave the ground, or even go one step further and throw me out. I would also be free to roam around the whole ground and stand just where I wanted to, I’m starting to like the sound of watching football in this sort of environment. Maybe I should take my radio and listen to Torquay’s game on the radio, or I could take both, I can always switch of the radio if it’s not pleasant listening.
Mind made up, go and watch a bunch of honest lads playing only because they love to play football, so I won’t be around this afternoon and trust someone will post up the team news etc and I expect I might just still feel the urge to do a match report on the game I will be watching this afternoon.
Good luck to our boys and hope you can get some sort of result this afternoon that will make us the fans have a more enjoyable weekend.

Just tuned in and we're already 1-0 down thanks to a Mullin goal after 8 minutes.
Must improve...
Almost did, we missed a penalty. Can't keep clean sheets and can't score goals. I keep repeating myself.

Well, we (or Mansell) gift them a soft opener, reminiscent of last sat. Then Wroe misses a pen.... We dont make it easy for ourselves do we

HALF TIME: According to Chris Hayes who is there....................Rendell was dragged back by the Morecambe keeper when about to shoot into an open goal. The keeper only got a yellow card and then saved Wroe's penalty! With Grimsby 3-1 down at Rochdale as I post there is everything to gain here if we can get a point.

More from Chris..................... At half time we could and should have converted at least one of the chances created but conversely could also be at least three down. Mind you when I saw this half time I thought Mr Hayes was playing at Luton single handed: HT: Luton Town 7 (seven) Hayes 0 !

Well......thankfully just 0-1 at half time, apart from the missed pen and an odd chance, its been all them according to the commo.
We need to move up a gear to get anything from this one you feel. It needs to be predominately the starting X1 too........bar Benyon, their aint much on the bench sadly.....
Its the players like Zebroski, who has been "having one of those days" so far, that we desperately need to start playing like they can.
So far in the 2nd half.....its all Morecambe again.

Can we afford to have a player of his quality not even make the squad? Can we afford to have a player of his attitude still at the club?...................or shall we just let things drift.

Hereford suprisingly 1 up at Chesterfield.
Couple of chances for us with the best being a free header from 8 yards falling to the guy that you dont want on the end of it....Muzzy.

From what i was told by a good source......thomson is not popular with the rest of the squad. We should have got rid perhaps......but hey its another body i suppose.
