I saw something today I've never seen before in football: Anthony played in a 4 team tournament for Arsenal Dev U9s which was two teams from the Gunners lined up against two teams from one of London'd most deprived and tough areas ~ Somerstown. These kids don't have much going for them in that part of London between Euston and St Pancras stations, so it was a massive day for them. Come the final game of the tournament today , Somerstown hadn't managed a single goal between their two out classed sides when they were awarded a penalty which they celebrated as if they'd won the World Cup. The level of excitement went into overdrive as the spot kick hit the back of the net and there was a scrum of wildly writhing bodies getting higher and higher as BOTH Somerstown squads and their supporters celebrated breaking their duck as Anthony and his bemused team mates looked on. All except one that was, for Jordell one of Arsenal's smallest players, was missing and only re-appeared from the bottom of the scrum as it disentangled and a lap of honour ensued!
