Hands up if you know what "Panna" is....................... It's Dutch/Surinamese for "nutmeg" so are you getting warm? Anthony is entered in a Panna contest in North London on Saturday week, and it's currently the "Rage in the Cage" at the back of our home and all over Inner City London no doubt and all you need is two people (it's played one v one) a football and preferably a ghetto blaster plus a stop watch; although the latter two aren't obligatory. A game lasts for three minutes or until one player has successfully nutmegged the other....................simples, eh? To get a taste of it just "Google" the word "Panna" on your computer and enjoy!

Sounds fun, I was down the Abbey Lawn a couple of Saturdays ago and we had a kick around with these lads we had never seen before and they were up for a game so on it was, the first thing I did was to kick the ball with my right foot but from behind my left foot and megged this lad whilst shouting out TAXI and run past him to collect the ball, this I think didn`t give them alot of encouragement, looked sh1t hot though the kick is easy but to meg someone with it is a bitn special for an oldy like me to do! I can imagine the over ellaborated shoulder drops to get your opponent to spread `em not to mention the endless amount of step overs these kids do nowadays! Sounds like loads of fun and I for one would right up for a game of Panna!
