Last night, minutes after the final whistle had gone at Home Park, The PA announcer decided to play 'We Are The Champions' & 'Blayden Races' Bearing in Mind Argyle had also just been relegated and there was still thousands of Argyle fans still in the ground.
How would we have felt as fans if our own PA announcer decided to do the same if Notts County win the league on our patch on the 8t May & we had also been relegated in the same match?
I wonder if said PA announcer at Home Park has a job this morning as I imagine the Argyle fans are in uproar.

I read some of the Plymouth fans views on a forum I came across and they were not very happy I can tell you and some were saying they were giving up supporting their cub.
It was bad enough seeing their team relegated but to have the team who just beat you and sealed you fate having this song played to them in their home ground, was in my view very uncaring and very thoughtless by Plymouth.
It could have been we might have had to suffer a similar fate in our own ground against Notts County in our final game if we had not already secured our league status, if our club had done the same to us as Plymouth did to their own fans, then I also might feel it was time to look for something else to do on Saturday afternoons.

What a truly shocking thing to do. How plastic to even think it appropriate to play it.

....................and again, another appalling example of how the professionals have no idea, no inkling and no compassion as to how the supporters ~ the real people in all this are feeling. Relegation is a huge kick in the guts for any supporter whilst the protagonists who brought it about usually swan off in to the sunset for another pay day at another club. Let's be honest, Argyle are just an anonymous bunch of third rate foreign players who no-one had ever heard of, managed by someone with no experience of managing in this country ~ and yet he is handed a Championship brief for God's sake ~ and seemingly owned more and more by foreign investment who probably don't even know where the bloody city is!

We'd all be (rightly) livid if anyone decided to pull a stunt like this at Plainmoor.
That the person whose idea this was thought that a) Argyle fans wouldn't care, or b) that there wouldn't be consequences, says everything.
