Just read the Herald site "Buckle Praises Fans" below the article is an interesting and well written comment from a lady called Anna/London. She appears to have some interesting information on recent goings on between Lee and Buckle most of which I had no idea. Whether it is all true or not is another matter but if it is it would account for the lack of comment and low profile from Mr Lee. Interesting reading whoever she may be.

My main concern is that I hope all those connected with the club are pulling in the same direction, that is the only way our club will be successful. I don't know who this Anna is but she sure can write eloquently !
I think it is safe to say that Buckle fell out with Rayner and Phillips last season which meant both their departures. I can understand the club not disclosing what actually went on, and not going public on any unrest behind the scenes. Likewise it was also quite a loss last season when John Milton left due to an apparent fall-out.
I do think the odd club statement from the club chairman or Colin Lee would be a good thing as some sort of rallying call, and to try and pull everyone connected with the club, supporters included, in the same direction. I think the vocal home support in the last game showed most fans are trying to do their bit for the club. The club just needs a bit more leadership.
Like others, I have upmost support for the efforts of the board, Colin Lee and our sponsors. I just hope the relationship between Colin Lee and Buckle is o.k.

I do think the odd club statement from the club chairman or Colin Lee would be a good thing as some sort of rallying call, and to try and pull everyone connected with the club, supporters included, in the same direction. It's been a bugbear of mine for sometime that the lowering of standards of the HE allows people to post WHAT they want under ANY "name" they wish whilst I have ALWAYS posted under my own clearly defined name AND domicile. This then does invite abuse and insult from those who hide behind half a name or a "tag" in the good old South Devon traditions of insult throwing from behind lace curtains rather than have the guts to confront face to face..............but then I'm used to all that hypocrisy and I'm old enough, fat enough and thick skinned enough not to let that bother me. "Anna" is almost certainly not called that and almost certainly doesn't live in "London", whilst "Elliot B" is almost certainly not Elliot Benyon; and who the feck "Barry Cryer" is - apart from a disaffected "Batesonite" is anyone's guess. Nevertheless, "ANNA" might well have a very pertinent point yet it is somewhat devalued by the very fact that "she" chooses to partially hide"her"identity. The fact of the matter is that the club policy is to rightfully keep such matters in house whilst the Herald Express through Dave Thomas toes the club line, whilst at the same time allowing any old crap, dissent and abuse onto their website unabated. Yes, I do think it time for the Chairman to speak out regarding this anti Buckle campaign, and perhaps now we have the lunatic inference that he and his fellow directors are "property speculating" at the expense of running OUR club I really do think it is time for Alex Rowe to speak out!

What a pity that Sean who Is a member on the forum and has seem this thread, but has stated that we will no longer post on here. Knowing both Colin and Paul very well, he could have taken the opportunity to simply dismiss the letter as pure nonsense.

Merse the fool who stated that our board were property speculating, Is simply the biggest fool, to ever post on the HE site. We did have such a chairman once, your mate Chris Roberts, but how anyone could say that our board were not there other than as TUFC fans themselves, to take our club back to its very best, must need putting away somewhere.

Any member or associate member of the board, is not at liberty to do that as an individual. It is for the board as a whole to decide whether or not they comment in public.

While I fully understand that Merse, a simple post that it was just utter rubbish, could have done the trick. Why want a voice, If you don't want to use it.

But why would someone simply 'make up' a letter like the one that appears under the name Anna that appeared on the HE website and has seemingly caused such consternation among fans on both the forums I like to frequent.
It's very well written, makes pertinent points that no one outside the realms of the club could possibly know, and what is it for us as mere forum members and occasional writers, to suggest there is not an ounce of truth in it because we never hear a thing from anyone at the club who is not named Paul Buckle.
His comments seem to be all we ever get to read or listen to now - when was the last time Colin Lee went public with anything, or the board for that matter - are things going on behind the scenes that people are hiding? Things we might not want to read but might be better informed if we did? Things that might suggest reasons for the apparent lack of harmony on the pitch and off it for example?
Anyone on this forum who doesn't have at least one question about what is currently happening at Plainmoor would obviously be someone happy with the Status Quo of being a low-grade Blue Square Premier League side - and I don't mean Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi at this time. (And no, they are not our two next signings either).
I'll personally be very surprised if there isn't something to all of this and while having reservations about any possible outcome, if someone's job has to come under threat over it, at the end of the day if it is all for the long-term best of TUFC then I'll be all for it. And no, this is not a veiled 'Buckle out' post - he needs to be allowed time to do his job and not have to concentrate on or worry about apparent trouble going on off the pitch.

When campaigns such as this begin, it's imperative NOT to take anything that is said at face value without analysing just who is saying what, why they are saying it and how much of the whole picture they are "revealing"That "Anna" has an agenda is without question, that "Elliot B" responds for the "other side" is obvious. What is for sure is that the Herald Express are being duplicitous and underhand giving a forum to posters to aire their theories WITHOUT any requirement to either validate them or reveal their true identities. Scurrilous whispering campaigns are NOT the way for a football club to do business and the man at the very top - the Chairman, must put a stop to this forthwith.................even if there is short term pain in doing so. I've said before that the relationship between manager and chairman is paramount to the well being of any football club. I've also said before that I hold an abhorrence to when any manager is left out to dry by his employers - especially due to outside interference in the relationship between manager and chairman. time for the chairman to stand shoulder to shoulder with his manager, give him his unequivocal support and ONLY communicate with him person to person and not through any third party!

I think that is all the fans want to see Merse, most will take such posts on the H.E. as nothing more than something to read. Alex can get the H.E. around and show them that all is well and everyone Is working together as a unit, to keep the club going forward.
Failure to do so, will only leave ground for more and more speculation, that does fans and the club no good at all.
