This programme shows just how our pitch has improved so much over the years and how well it must be looked after. I'm sure we do now have much better drainage on the pitch and maybe todays grass is a better quality and tougher etc. It seems work was done on the pitch in the close season to try and reduce the ankle deep mud the team had played in the season before. It makes you wonder how in such conditions they could ever play any good football, well I'm sure they could not play it the way its meant to be played  |
