Damian Keeley made one starting appearance - and two as sub - for Torquay United in the FL towards the end of the 1981/82 season.

Do that again Welshman and I'll come down there and blow yer ruddy bridges up so you have to go back to using the Aust Ferry like you had to in the good old days. Trying to sit sideways and read your conribution, I fell off me seat, banged my head against the wall and spent the night waiting in casualty for eight hours with my head inclined to one side and now I've come home with a surgical collar on. "Evenin' vicar" is the least of the smart arsed comments being made to me right now ~ and tell me....................how am I supposed to wear a flippin' hat in this state?

Brian Carpenter was a very good friend of mine, who went to so many away games with me as well as home games, his brother Steve played a few games for our club in midfield,

Hi Stuart, I have removed the image from the quote, can I ask if possible you do not include the images, as they just make the thread look so untidy. Now I know you won't mind, seeing you had me up to 12.50am sorting out all your on the side scans. ;D

Anyone know what season this was?
It was either '73 or '79 as this is when the10th of May was a Thursday, but as Frank O'Farrell presented the cup I'm assuming it was 1979.
