01/05/57: Crystal Place (A) Promotion denied

This was our final game of the season and was played on the 1st may 1957. We went into the game sitting on the top of the table on 58 points, Ipswich were in second place on 57 points.

I will leave our history boys to add anything they can about the game itself, but we sure played in good company in 1957.
