Just had a chat with Grahame and I thought I should bring you an update.
Firstly Lewis had a nice holiday in Cornwall last week, but has returned with a rash on his face and hands etc, it may be due to a reaction to his treatment, or could be just due to the sun. As a precaution he has been kept of school for a few days.
Some good news on the drum lessons for Lewis, Grahame had got the contact details from the Newton Abbot Musical Company in Union St, the club that had been asked did not get back to Grahame and so he asked who else taught drums locally.
He was put in touch with a lady called Katie who teaches at many of the local schools and she lives in Ipplepen. She sounds absolutely perfect because with the other club Lewis would have had to go to a class somewhere, while Katie will teach Lewis in his own home.
This makes more sense and she also will be more flexible, this means that if Lewis was unwell one week it will not affect the course as she will just come the next week instead. A price of £12.50 per a lesson has been agreed and Lewis will be having a total of ten lessons, so the total cost will be £125.
I have told Grahame to now book her services and will be giving him a cheque for the full amount soon.
We looked at getting frames in Newton Abbot for the signed England and Torquay shirt, but they are a bit over priced. Grahame has a found a good company on the internet who do frames made just for football shirts. They also do a plaque that goes with the frame and Grahame said the cost with postage etc should be less than £80 for both the frames.
The draw for the signed shirt will be done very soon and I will post the result as soon as I have it.
