How I would have loved to be there and meet Lewis and witness his enjoyment. However with he imminent birth of our baby (Mummy just returned from her hospital appointment) it's just not possible to contemplate travelling so far from home at the moment. Enjoy yourselves hugely this afternoon folks, and let's hope it doesn't turn out to be a wonderful day out ruined by ninety minutes of football, but just in case the result doesn't bring the anticipated happiness just remember that life is a whole lot more than football, football and supporting a club is a whole lot more than matchdays, and that family is a whole lot more than any of it. The "gathering" today is a "family" gathering ~ the family of the TFF amongst the fraternity of Torquay United.....................a very special and rather unique little community. Value it, treat it with respect and enhance it in every way you can. HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Catching the bus up just after 11.00 - I'm sure Lewis's smile will light up the day. Can't wait to meet the little fella.

I think that some of the people that feel it acceptable to hurl insults at our own players and staff should take note of that! I hope everyone has a great afternoon (regardless of the result and performance!)- I'll be hoping to get to the game in time to see young Lewis take to the field.

Just a few words to say how very grateful we all are for the wonderful day that you all gave Lewis today. He had a smashing day and was over-awed as all of us were with the wonderful generosity of everyone at the fans forum and the club. I dont know how to put into words our gratitude to you all. It was simply awesome for us to be there and experience such a wonderful day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and everyone of you.

It was such a humbling experience. Also, I videoed the presentation and the Chris Hargreaves part. I will burn them onto a DVD and drop it into you at work one day next week.
