Torquay Fans Forum Carvery Saturday, 04 April 2009
The members, who joined the forum in the first few months, will remember that Sean of City Link Builders had planned to sponsor a game, in the name of the Torquay Fans Forum. He ran a raffle via the PM Service on the forum and 14 members won and were due to have a VIP day at the club as part of the sponsorship package.
Firstly I would like to apologize to all the member who did in fact win, Sean did this off his own back and as you would now expect he is probably not looking to put any further money into TUFC at this time.
The match was to be the Kettering game and Andygulls has contacted me and put forward an idea that I think is brilliant. Andy feels we should still try and make the Kettering game a special one and has suggested that we could have a Torquay Fans Forum pre match carvery .
It would be a great chance for us all to put faces to names and it would make the game one for us all to remember. If we can get enough interested in going, I will contact the club and see if we can get a better price for a large block booking. If we can do that then it will help to keep the cost of the day down a little and make it more affordable for most.
So how about it folks, fancy a nice meal and make it just more than going to watch the match? Please put your names down on this thread if you are interested. Many thanks to Andy for this great idea.

I think the carvery idea is marvellous and having experienced it myself before the Blackpool game, would highly recommend it!
