Lou has just phoned me just as she was about to dash for the train to get to Plainmoor for tonights quiz that is taking place in NO 10’s. I did tell the dear lady to not over do things as she was also there last night for the draw for the Junior Gulls. She has asked me to thank everyone on her behalf who bought a ticket for the draw for the Junior Gulls and while I do not know the total of tickets sold, I’m sure she told me the other day that she had herself had sold £2000 worth, I may have got the figure slightly wrong, but she has worked beyond the call of duty to raise so much money for our Junior Gulls and deserves so much praise. The winning ticket was bought by L.J. Boyce Thank you Dave for the post above, the team I put in came 2nd to the TFF, well done TFF. Thank you from myself and the Junior Gulls Committee to every one who supported the Junior Gulls Sponsorship Draw, it was a complete sell out and raised over £2,000. (I sold around £1,350 worth). Your support is much appreciated for such a worthy cause, as I am sure you will agree with me that the junior supporters really are the future supporters of TUFC, especially if we can keep them involved at this early stage in their lives! I thoroughly enjoy working with the children, the juniors that we have at the moment are a great bunch of varied ages and are always so well behaved, it really is a pleasure for me being able to do things for them and all the hard work is made so worth while seeing the expressions on their faces, seeing the enjoyment and fun that they get out of whatever we are doing and especially the thanks that they give me for doing it for them.
