We had a fantastic party for the children after the match last Saturday 20 December, we all had a really good time, the children were very well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
At the start some of the players came up and signed the children's
autograph books, some then joined in with a couple of the games which the kids thought was great!!
After the games, the children sat down and had their party food which was lovely and they all enjoyed it.
A magician then came in and showed the children some party tricks and then there was the arrival of Father Christmas who gave each child a present! The children were thrilled to see him and loved their presents.
Next we did the draws for Guess the name of the polar bear and the raffle, I managed to get Eric Coote (consortium) to come down from the board room and do the draw for us. after that it was time to give the children their party bags and glo sticks, wish them all a happy Christmas and time to go home, party over!!
All in all it was a great party enjoyed by all, the children had lovely time.
A lot of hard work went into organising the party but it was well worth it as we were well rewarded by the enjoyment and thanks expressed by the children.
