So far 4 pts from 3 games. I can't see us improving too much from the next 3. It would take 3 wins to bring us back on par. Can't see it happening guys.
I'm starting to look at suitable candidates to replace Buckle. Better to look now and be ready rather than wait until he totally fecks our chances up. Doesn't do any harm to put pressure on him either. He's got the bottle to respond or he's not worth keeping anyway. If not, i hope the board are looking at options(unlike Buckle).
Daish would be worth a look.
9 more games to sort it or we should get rid.

Yes Dave Shaw nine games left to play, three games played and four points on the board. nine games , so thats a possigle 27 points plus the four we have = 31. so that will be our two points a game plus point seven over our target.
Its so much easier to be positive and not give up hope, makes life and the day so much better.
by the way has Berryhead arrived with you yet ;D

Lets just pick the manager of the last team we played and beat us. Would that mean Evans would be on your 'list' if we lose tomorrow?? For someone who is so anti-Buckle i would have expected a short-list of candidates for the job. Candidates that would be available in 9 games time. Daish would most certainly NOT be amongst them. Who else would be on your list Mourinho, Ferguson, Tisdale??

he has not even been to a game or saw the team play i do not understand why he is so against buckle we know he has not got the team right yet but if you say you are going to give him 9 games then please give him 9 games it seems you only have one theme and can not discuss anything else on this site.

Dartgull, you are right, i haven't been to a game. I've listened on RD, talked to fans who have and read the reports on here and in the media. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then guess what? Actually, i'd better tell you the answer darty me old mate, don't want you spending the whole day working it out.......... It's a Duck. Dave, i can count mate, do you really think we're going to win the next 9(or 6 by your maths) games? Say hello to the easter bunny when you see him. I don't get it with some of you guys. If you can't see "the emporers new clothes" then wake up. As for being "negative". This is the usual respose from delusional people. Who then jump the fence with the rest of the sheep when the inevitable happens. Berryhead? No thanks, i'll stay in paradise. ;D

Dave my maths is a product of not passing my 11+ and ending up at Highweek school for boys in Newton Abbot ;D Dartgull is correct when he says give him the nine games, until they have passed you won't know if you are really right or wrong. Easter bunny my point is that nine games could equal 27 points, that is a fact, could we get all 27? I don't know and guess what, nor do you. I will admit I do think its very unlikely and would not want to bet my house on it, but as I write the team does have the possibility of getting all 27 points. All football teams have gone on runs, some winning a record number of games, or the most games without a defeat. Some teams records will be for the most games played without getting a win. I, nor you can't say today, how many points we will get, not a rose tinter mate,I said if after 12 games things seemed as bad, I would be shouting for some sort of action myself. While that may not be calling for the managers head, there are other things that could be done to try an address the problem then, If it was the case that the team had still not got the results one would hope for. Sean and the club are correct to state that Buckle has their support, that they believe he is the man for the job, most clubs will make statements like these when things are not going the way it was planned or the way they hoped it would go. I really don't understand why after only three games played, the anti-Buckle brigade really do seem to be growing and If it continues they will be responsible for forcing the club to act sooner that it might, because have no fears they have put money in, they have their dreams and real hopes and expectations, of where they see the club going. If they get to a point where they feel Buckle is not the man to take them there, then like any other manager he will be looking for new employment, one thing I have learned about football is, there is none or very little loyalty in the game. You claim to be a supporter, well now is the time that fans like you, need to show that support, its far to easy to sit from afar and keep wingeing, what is that going to achieve, I will tell you, nothing at all mate. Look at the bigger picture at Plainmoor, you have a club where people who really care now own and run your club, not ones who are looking to just get some land deal or use the club to further their own ends. Or get some Hotel on a seafront near you and only use your club to get it, with no regards how much damage it would do to your club. Buckle has made mistakes, he has had problems with some players, he does need to learn lessons, he needs to really find the way to get our team playing to the full potential it really does have, but he needs the likes of you to give him the opportunity to get on with what he knows he needs to do. I have seen some fans on forums, who claim they are supporters, but sit by their radios and hoping the team will lose the game, so they can get typing on their keyboard to get their post on the board, that they got it right and call those who did not listen fools. Maybe you will be right, but as long as we have the points to play for and the games to get things turned around, I will remain positive and try to keep the faith in those who want the same as me and that is my club getting back to where I think it belongs. It has no right to be there, it does need to earn the right to play back in the football league, but please give it a chance mate, we still have only played THREE GAMES.

Such negativity on this site. this can only do harm to the club, especially if the players read this garbage. If you are all so critical of Buckle and know better, then why didnt you apply for the job yourselves last year?
If this site is only here to denegrate, then I will not be part of it.
By the way the true Gulls fans can be seen, not at Plainmoor but, like myself, at away games. I shall be at Crawley this afternoon cheering on the best club in the Division, win draw or lose. Anyone remember Bobby Charlton? "It's the taking part the counts"

As in any forum the members are allowed to express their own views and feelings, you can always do what I do and make positive posts to address the balance. Dave R Forum Founder

Welcome to this normally "mature" site Richmond and I think you will find it a lot more stimulating and respectful than any alternative TU forums. At least posters can put up their views without being insulted and disrespected...................and all this is self regularity because parameters of the site are ones of being for Gulls fans, and not inviting all sorts of crap from silly beggars from other clubs to then drag the site down to the level of juvenile cat calling. Don't despair at views other than yours, but concentrate on out debating them - it's far more enjoyable than walking away!

All fans are true fans wether they go to home games, away games or cant go to games at all.

Can i just put something on record.
I am desperate for our club to do well. Having supported for getting on for 40 years i've seen it all. Abject low points, hilariously funny moments and a few deleriously happy ones.
It gives me no pleasure whatsoever to come on here and "whinge". I'm as frustrated as hell with what's going on. I don't believe in blind folowing just because it's "positive". In my book not stating the obvious is just sycophancy.
Repeating the Buckle and Sean mantra doesn't make it true. It just papers over the cracks.
What i want to see now is Buckle grab his balls and get things moving. By far the cheapest and more preferable option is for him to sort it. But, i don't think he has the skills required. So i would like that we made a decision on him sooner rather than later. At least that gives the new guy the chance to have a stab at promotion.
Bucks has had long enough to get it right. I still believe he should have until the end of september. Maybe i'm just getting soft in my old age.

Dave Shaw, the posts you have made is simply your views, the way you see things and that is fine. This is a place where you can express those views, some will agree, while others may want to put a label on you.
Speak your mind and share your views, if everyone on the forum had the same views, even I would get very bored using the forum. I think deep down there will be many who share your thoughts anyway, but for now they just want to try and keep positive and hope that things will improve. If they day comes when they feel they can no longer do that, then I'm sure we will soon know on here.

No matter what anyone thinks , no matter what the difference of opinion is, as long as it is respectful and intelligent then it is welcome. Like merse says if you don't agree then "out debate" that is why this board is for grown ups! Great to see you using this board Dave, Your opinions are very welcome. P.S. You missed a cracking fest with the grecian last weekend ( I am still getting over it!)
