We thought it was bad being out of the league for 2 years but Exeter endured 5 years. tonight The Exiles returned to the conference after 21 years in the wilderness. Well done Newport and Chris Todd and hopefully we won't be playing you next year but the year after in L2. Only down side is that i do not look forward to your mental fans. I spoke to Paul Bastard on Saturday and reminded him of his misfortune the last time he was at Spytty Park

Can't say that I'm extatic or even enthusiastic to see this "Mongol Hord" supported club edge nearer a return to the Football League with their bleak out of town athletics stadium and coming from one of the roughest centres of humanity it is possible to find in this country. In saying "this country", "Spit the Dog Stad" is not even that is it and another reason why they shouldn't be allowed anywhere but their own national league to defecate in with their periodic outbreaks of racist aggresion dressed up as"nationalist fervour" During our time out of the Football League we did indeed enjoy many visits to places anew and were warmly welcomed, but I defy anyone to even begin to apply that description to the "Eastern European" style day that we had to endure surrounded by riot police on a bleak South Wales trading estate.................. it was just like supporting England in Poland in the nineteen seventies Indeed, I owe Eastern Europe an apology for my last trip there to watch games at Dynamo Dresden and Erzgebirg Aue were memorable indeed and full of Eastern hospitality! So Newport "are back" eh? I feel like I've just trod on a a dog turd!
