I have to ask myself, If I'm normal, or even If I'm just a one off, different from all other fans of football clubs. I do know that I'm above average, well according to some information on the Radio yesterday I am. It stated the average person spends 35 Min's on a PC a day, I spend nearly all my spare time on one, trying to run and keep a forum going.
No, I think I'm different, because It is not important to me that the two other Devon clubs lost today and In fact I would go as far as to say, I;m sorry they lost. You see while my club is and always has been TUAFC, I was born in Devon, so why would I not want all Devon teams to do well.
You can't tell me they are rivals to the club I support, can you, a rival can only be something you are competing against. That is not the case with Exeter or Plymouth. So as their results will not at this time effect what happens to my club, I see not need to jump for joy just because they lost.
No matter what you may think about those clubs, they have fans, just like us, they will be down in the dumps tonight, yes I know you may say they laugh at us when we lose, but do we really have to do it back.
This carries on into our so called big clubs with me, My Wife Carol has four grown up boys, all Liverpool fans, so me and ant have always had lots of banter from them, as our second club is Man u. Still unlike all of them, if it was Liverpool on a Champions League match against a non English club, I would be shouting for Liverpool, well you see I'm English, I really believe we need to show our support to most things that are English.
Sorry it gets worse, If only Scotland or Ireland were left in the World cup, I would be cheering them on, well you see I come from Great Britain, or the UK as some may call it, so why would I not want to support any thing from Great Britain.
So now you may be thinking, that Dave R is in fact not normal, maybe needs to see a doctor, maybe I do, but It won't change a thing in me.

There's no way that your view of life could be construed as "normal" Dave, nor mine for that matter..........................how could we have matching views any way when your height just about equals my waistline? ;D
