that cup match on the beeb between Man.U and Villa? Because I`m dying to know why the linesman gave offside against Villa in the last few minutes when the player in question was quite clearly in an onside position, if you watched it you will know what I`m talking about, the commentator said that the lino got red mixed up with white in his head, if this is the case and officials at top level are making mistakes like that then I can understand why the level of officiating at our games is so poor! It either can`t have been for offside or the lino`s a joke! If it wasn`t for offside then what the hell was it for?

It either can`t have been for offside or the lino`s a joke! If it wasn`t for offside then what the hell was it for? I didn't see it from where I was sitting (the 2nd tier) but the Villa fans went apeshit when the lino gave the offside decision. One of several mystifying decisions given against both sides during the game where it seemed that Phil Dowd resorted to using ESP. The Penalty was a funny one. Aghbonlahor fell over on his own at first, then got up and fell over Vidic's leg the second time. Then after the penalty Villa didn't get one decision their way. There was a funny period in the second half when Villa fans screamed for a handball either against Darren Fletcher or Jonny Evans only for the Man Utd lot to ironically chant "handball" everytime the ball came near a United player. I've heard it done at Plainmoor before but its quite some feat of coordination considering there was 40,000 of them there. I got to Wembley yesterday and there were "Glazer Out" banners everywhere which were backed up with "We want Glazer Out" chants during the match and with most people donning Green and Yellow scarves to highlight the association with Newton Heath. James Milner is a excellent player and deserves his chance with the National Squad as does Ashley Young. For Man United, Antonio Valencia is a really old fashioned type of winger. He reminds me a lot of Steve Coppell and Andrei Kanchelskis. He also seems to be building up a good understanding with the young Brazillian full back Rafael. My man of the match was Ji Sung Park yesterday. I've never ever seen a player work his bollocks off so much during one game. He's just relentless. No wonder South Korea got the semi final in 2002 if they all worked as hard as he does.

Like the commentator said Fergie had a right go at Dowd a while ago and he thinks Dowd has been trying to satisfy Fergie, the ironic cheers when a Man.U player finally got booked were very audable on the telly!
