Two of the BSP teams that had the best pre season's were York and, relegated, Wrexham.
They meet on Thursday, in what could be a big early game in the promotion hunt.
Wrexham started with an emphatic victory over Stevenage and are many peoples bet for promotion.
York, for me, could be abit of a dark horse this season, they started with a win away at Crawley. Last season they made a marked improvement under Colin Walker when he took over. After a good second half of the season, in which they made the trophy semi's, and lost to us, Walker has strengthened over the summer.
I really can see York making the playoffs this season, if not challenging for the title. This match could be a pivatol game for both teams.
Does anyone else fancy York to challenge this season?

It sure will be a big game for both clubs, I think there are five or six clubs, who all have a good chance this season, of getting promoted.
That is why I fear some fans expectations that we are going to somehow walk this league, may find we are going to find it much harder than they think.
How many seasons ago did we go and play Wrexham up there?, sure it was a cup match and they were one devision higher at the time. They really do seem too big a club, to be staying in the BSP for too long.

I remember going to the Milk cup Final, when Oxford were in the top flight, the game was against Q.P.R, so I will concede that Oxford were at one time in their history, a bigger club than Wrexham. I just think Wrexham over the last ten years have stood out more than Oxford and I wait to get shot down with some facts and figures, that prove I'm wrong. Still I think Wrexham are too big for the BSP and would expect we will have a big job on our hands if we want to go up instead of them.

Well York have won so it looks as though they could be a challenger this season. Some of the Wrexham fans should come back down to earth now. Stevenage got stuffed at home to Eastbourne and they've been beaten so that'll be a bit of a come down from the 5-0 on Saturday.

Makes our start to the season.look just fine, what is clear, no games are going to be easy this season. I will be happy to be around or near the play offs by Xmas and hope we can have a really good push in the second half of the season, just like a club did that is near us.
