The only thing to note is that when we sent in the pages for this programme, we inserted the words Independent Torquay United Fans Forum, as while the TFF fully supports the club, its felt we should make it clear we are an independent forum.

Just so there is no misunderstand re the use of the word independent and anyone thinking it might have been changed after Colin Lee made a club statement last week, these pages with the change that were made were sent to the club on the Tuesday before the Torquay v Dagenham & Redbridge match that did not go ahead and were therefore used for the Burton programme.

I know what brought this on and I say screw them especially the thingy that was whinging about it to our editor, obviously not on this site!

Hopefully I explained the situation in a fairly diplomatic and calm way so it doesn't now become an issue in other places.

Doesn`t matter how well you explain it mate, it will get twisted by someone, mainly that bloke that thinks he is a certain colour and he will use what ever you say against you, you see the problem is that you are associated with TFF and anything to do with us will be a target of his, he is that petty and obviously so bored he has nothing better to do than be a pain in the arse!

Either way, it remains a bloody good feature in the matchday programme. Hats off.

As the programme editor and taker of some recent OS flack!! I can back up the original message from Dave R that any info put on the TFF programme pages is from the TFF and I have never asked for any content to be added/removed or changed. As a wee addendum and from the relative safety of ducking behind some sandbags, the club does view any fan's forums as separate entities from Facebook, Twitter and the like. If anyone needs a chat pm me! Darryl

Aussie my post was not made for his benefit and was only done to provide the information that the changes were made by the TFF and not at the request of our club. We will decide if we stick with what we have put in the programme and won't be adding or changing anything just to keep him happy. The TFF is a fully independent forum and fully supports the club, that is how it always has been and always will be. The TFF provides a platform for sensible people who want to discuss our club and any other matters of interest to us all. The TFF will never provide server space for people with agenda's against our club, or for anything designed to cause harm to it, we are a supporters forum, others types are available. After all the problems the last time I spent a week in email contact with the man and just wasted my time, we are and always have been a members forum and he is not one on here. My best advice is to just let him post what ever he wants about the TFF or any of us, don't get tempted to reply to him as you then only give him the opportunity to post again on any thread he starts. We do not need to ever provide explanations of anything to him, he is just someone the TFF banned and rightly so. If what he says is untrue or inaccurate, so what, we know what is right or wrong and that is all that matters. I hope not to hear mention of him on here again, we have much better things to talk about than him.

Hold on Dave! You say this forum is for 'sensible people'!? Does that mean I'm excuded? I have spent all my life trying to never be bracketed as 'sensible'!!! And you know what I do for a living - how worrying is that?

And you know what I do for a living - how worrying is that? I have always made an exception in your case if only because I don't want you looking to deeply into my affairs. By sensible I simply mean people who come to join in, have fun and debate as adults in the proper way.

I wasn`t on about your post I was on about Leigh`s, I think your preaching to the converted on that mate! I know exactly what the TFF is, does and stands for! I was just trying to let Leigh know that he maybe getting himself in a spot of bother by replying to said muppet from Mensa!

how come your on line so early? Dartmouth today was it? Because for the first time in over six years I had to call in sick today, never ever have I felt like I did when I got up for work this morning and I was still going to go in, but then decided it was really not the best thing to do.
