Evening everyone. Brett. I'll stick them in here for now.
Here are my two latest stadium visits. These are some photos taken of the Jan Breydel Stadion in Bruges which is home the both Club Brugge and Cercle Brugge. It holds just under 30,000 supporters. One or two of the pictures are a little bit on the dark side, but it was 6am!
Note that this stand is for Cercle Brugge supporters. The Club Brugge fans are housed behind the other goal!
And this is the Nieuw Galgenwaard Stadium in Utrecht, Holland. I couldn't get inside but its impressive enough from the outside! It holds around 25,000 supporters. It opened in 2000 and it still looks brand new. Put it this way. They haven't used the same builders that Rupert Love used! Honestly Ted, you could talk St Mary's into coming down!
Great Photos Chris, the second stadium, looks from the outside that it should have a much higher capacity, it looks bigger than the first stadium.
I was thinking the same Dave. The stadium in Bruges is nestled away in a quite little village/suburb to the West of Bruges. The one in Utrecht looked very classy indeed. They have got quite big plans for Utrecht and with a stadium and set up like that they should be able to compete with Holland's bigger clubs. There's quite a buzz to the Dutch 1 Division this year. Its certainly not just about Ajax, PSV and the Kakkerlakken from Rotterdam! It will be interesting to see how Steve McClaren does with Twente Enschede.
