Hi all,
Daft question really but was wondering what your views/opinions were.
Am planning this years summer holiday and it's Torquays turn again (spent all afternoon looking for self-catering in the Torbay area), currently every other year gets a family visit, and I try to tie it in with the start of the season to treat the family to a home game. Wondering whether I would be better booking for the 7th or 14th of August to get maximum chance.
Like I say, I know fixtures are miles off and it's all down to chance through a computer, but was hoping the gathered knowledge and opinion of the collective could point me in the right position.

Bloody hell Wigston is that all you've got to do? This Club has been through the wringer the last week and all you can request is advice on what flip flops to wear ;D May I suggest book a saturday to saturday holiday---then you have both your dates covered. Also I hear Chez Dave R has a few spare beds so perhaps see what his rates are!! He may have to put your 10 kids in seperate rooms though!! Now can anybody advise about the boxing day fixtures please? Nice to see you posting again anyway.

"This Club has been through the wringer the last week" Longy, I think the club has seen darker times, (which I sincerely hope we never see again) and if you think the club is going through the wringer when sitting 7 points clear of the drop and with a far superior goal difference, then I can see why you chose a moneybags Prem team as your "other" club. Anyway, back to the point in hand. Will be booking sat to sat as always, work/holiday entitlement dictates that, so if anyone has any real advice it would be appreciated...

When we were one down last night I thought the dark times were back!!! Nice to hear the positive vibes which always (well nearly always) echo this site--WE ARE above the drop zone, WE ARE having costs cut and WE ARE above some very poor sides--so ill agree with that. Thanks for response now get back to your brochures---however you can recycle the Club 18-30 books...cos you are past it!!! Night night
