Some great series mentioned above, and the credit given to Band of Brothers is well deserved. When i bought the box set the Mrs complained "another boring war film", but she loved it too - thought provoking and moving stuff.
"Discovered" Prison Break after it had been on the TV after recommended by a friend - if you can pick up the 1st series on the cheap its well worth a look.
Father Ted, Blackadder, League of Gentlemen also favs, and Modern Family is rather good (for an american sitcom).

Watched Rab C Nesbit last night and it`s not funny, the bloke is purely cringe worthy, the story line was o.k but actors are dire! Spaced is purile garbage as well, give me Faulty Towers any day! Thinking about it it must be very difficult trying to find something to screen that everyone likes, I guess that`s why they have the ratings system `eh!

Can`t decide whether it`s The Young Ones or Bottom but with a different title! Yawn! Same old same old, you would think that there are other formats of humour they could have explored without blatantly repeating themselves, they are funny blokes but they seem too be stuck in the one col-der-sac, some one buy them a sat nav so they can find another avenue!
