being a Chelston boy I was horrified to hear that the pub in which I had my first pint in 1969 at the age of 16 had been closed down. This news hadn´t yet filtered through to Frankfurt. I must drop in for a pint on my next visit, maybe Jack Critchlow will be sat in a corner!

being a Chelston boy I was horrified to hear that the pub in which I had my first pint in 1969 at the age of 16 had been closed down. This news hadn´t yet filtered through to Frankfurt. I must drop in for a pint on my next visit, maybe Jack Critchlow will be sat in a corner! Happy to buy you a pint Frankfurt, you wont find Jack in the pub though. He use to drink in the Chelston Manor 10+ years ago - sometime see his name when he writes to the HE.

We could even have a kick-about in the swing park beforehand, I learnt my football there in the 60´s and came home with blue shins (from Keith Moore) most evenings.
