We couldn´t agree on this topic at work this morning so how do bungee jumpers manage to get back up? I can´t imagine it being possible for say 2 persons to pull on the cord or do they have some sort of machine to wind them up?
Has any forum member done a bungee jump?

They lower you down then reset the bungee rope for the next person.

well thanks for that aussie, I´ll make out I knew the answer at work tomorrow.
Thinking about it, I recall seeing a jumper splosh into a river and bounce back up as the angle of dangle on the cord was too long. If you bungee above a river then I suppose they lower you into a boat afterwards.

If you get a bungee cord length wrong in a car park, they lower you six foot under!
