I don't know how many of you might have missed the action at Kettering Town since they heroically walked off the Elland Road pitch having capitulated in extra time of their Second Round replay in the FA Cup at Leeds United on Tuesday, but it doesn't make for very edifying reading.
Newly appointed and highly respected John Deehan was summarily sacked by Chairman Imraan Ladek (he of the Paul Gasgoine appointment) within minutes of the final whistle for the substitutions made in that period.
The self publicising Ladak reckons HE knows more how to manage a non league football team away to a giant of the game better than a life long professional. The strutting peacock who roars up to home games in his top of the range sports car just minutes before many home games is then "aghast" that he is the target of prolongued anger and abuse in an hour long phone in that HE arranged on the club's website and talks of walking away from the club.
All this nonsense is nothing to do with young Imraan seeing his day in the national spotlight visiting Old Trafford in the Third Round being snatched away from him in the closing minutes of a pulsating performance by HIS players and HIS management then? Who after all is said and done, are the very people who got him there in the first place.
Acting like a spoilt child and a bratt is noting short of disgraceful and dispicable at the best of times. When it costs a professional his income and his family to lose their bread winner right before Christmas is downright wicked and unfeeling.
Think about this lunatic's behaviour when next you read the rantings on here from the Far East from the One Eyed Tiddly Thai who similarly throws his toys out of the pram and promotes such treatment of OUR manager at Torquay United.
Some Mothers' Do 'Ave 'Em is the phrase that comes to mind...................fortunately ours is tucked away almost as far away from Plainmoor as it is humanly possible to throw him, whilst Kettering's is in the bloody boardroom!
