England have been drawn in Group C for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, against USA, Algeria and Slovenia. This seems to be one of the kindest groups to England and may give us a decent chance of not coming up against some of the tougher teams in the next phase of the competition if we win the group.

England v Algeria will be simply massive round these parts. During the recent Algerian games with Egypt, there were literally thousands of them on the streets in Holloway packing out the social clubs and cafes of the Seven Sisters and Blackstock Roads, blaring car horns and waving gigantic flags. I think I had better find myself a new barber before I end up with a crescent moon and star shaved into my barnet! ;D

Its amazing how these games catch the publics attention and cause such a stir in ''dear old blighty''. We are truly a multi national and multi-cultured nation. It'll be great to be English next June and hopefully July if we qualify for the 2nd phase, and although we may not be everybodies favourites if we can keep all our players fit then we surely stand a great chance of going all the way or pretty damn close this time around!

I think this is a very good draw for England as we should make the next round with out an problems, its been a long time since we last won the world cup and while I intend to be around for many more years to come, I would love to see England win the world cup again as I did in 1966, before I go to heaven. So I hope we can do it and we had World Cup Willie in 1966, what have we got for this world cup?

So long as it's not World Cup Wally we'll be Ok! Got a good feeling this time mate. We should do well if we can keep the likes of Rooney Terry Gerrard etc fit. Bit unsure on the goalie front, but it's a few months yet so hopefully one of ours will be making a name for himself by then.
