As you are no doubt aware our youth team are playing Norwich in the cup at Plainmoor on wednesday 18th (kick-off 7.30pm). Just to let everyone know that the bars will be open at 5.30pm and we will be serving bar snacks in No10's restaurant. Hopefully you will all try and make it and support the lads. Also, just like to let you know about the New Years Eve party we are holding. The theme is 'Dirty Dancing'. There is a disco, free buffet, and the main entertainment will be a display of 'dirty dancing' (no comments please, especially you aussie ). the dancers will teach people some moves and wwe can all dance the night away with plenty of alcohol. If anybody is interested please ring me at the club (01803-328666 opt 1). Anyway, hope you can make it to the game (entry is £3 adults and £1 Under 16's) on Wednesday. Cookie xxx

If we can beat the Canaries on Wednesday evening, we can enjoy another home tie against either Millwall or Oxford Utd in the third round.

I will be going to the game and will put up a match thread for it as I will do a match report and I hope a few others will as well. Lets hope for a good turnout and I hope as many of you who will get along and give your support to our youth team.
As posted above a win will see us with another home tie against Millwall or Oxford Utd, at just £3 to get in it will not break the bank and it should be a good entertaining game.

Not if the weather forecast is right, more rain tomorrow and Tuesday, I know pitch drains really well but it can only handle so much water, Thursday before the storm started it was too wet to put the mower on it, we`ve had two and half days of persistant heavy rain with more to come!

Well you had better get to work with your lady fork aussie, I mean you are at last starting to look out on the pitch that you know what to do with the thing. I'm sure the pitch will be playable on Wednesday night, but the only reason the game might be called off, is if the club feel it would get to much damage on it, as we have a home game on it on Saturday.

It all depends on Mother Nature and how wet she wants to get us, there`s a lot more rain coming between now and Wednesday evening!

Fingers- crossed that the weather is ok, certainly be interesting to watch these youngsters in action. Norwich are one of those clubs who are taught the right way to play so should be an entertaining game and hopefully the Young Gulls can pinch a win over the Young Canaries! I see that Norwich's keeper is an England u/17 international...

Aussie don't be so pessimistic the suns shining See you all there really looking forward to it I was only going on what the weather man said Monday morning! And the fact that yesterday it was far too wet to re-turf the Family end goal mouth, the weather man has cocked it up in the past just ask Mr.Fish! We had too much rain over the weekend, yes the pitch has awesome drainage but if it shags it down again then the drainage might not be able to cope, we shall have to wait! Oh pooh, just looked out towards the Moors and guess what just started to happen! It`s raining!
