So our 'friend' at City Link Builders is not the new shirt sponsor...or is he?
Latest news on the club website says he is sponsoring the youth setup....so surely he would not be doing the shirts as well.
If not, then who is....as I am sure I saw in the HE that Carlsberg were laying folk off etc due to a shortage of cash, and they were mentioned at one time.
Anybody heard any snippets ;D

Ignoring the personality issues for a moment. The news that we have a youth squad up and running and that we will be competing in a recognised youth competition and naming a new coach to "work alongside" Matt Williams all bodes well. All part of the "professional" restoration process for the club

The subtle move from youth squad to youth squad sponsor is a sign of increased maturity, and I'm sure Sean's sponsorship can only be a good thing for the club (and in turn therefore for us as supporters). Well played that man.
Onwards and upwards!

You've no logical basis for making that assumption, and all will be revealed at the forthcoming Sportsman's' Dinner; so why don't you buy a ticket Andy and be the first to know............or will you be?

Well chuffed about the youth set up. Cheers sean for your involvement. When I think of the awful Bateson era and the "cost saving" destruction of the youth set up it makes me feel proud to be a tufc fan again.

Can't actually see any assumption there merse, the first line of my posting gives either or I think! ;D As for buying a ticket....I may already have one, have you? ....and as for already knowing........

Well done Sean for putting your heard earned cash into the club, any person/company has to be applauded for sponsoring a lowly team like Torquay. It's great to have the Youth team back up & running & now lets hope we get a few local kids in a Yellow shirt who will all play for the shirt. I'm glad you wasn't put off by earlier events in the season.

Dave...can you not set up an account for them and then email them their password? Sorry if that is a stupid suggestion, but it might work.

Dave,
Thank you very much for being given the opportunity to be on your site.
Firstly. Congratulations to you Dave for your foresight in this site.
I would also like to thank all the people who have taken the time to personally thank me and City Link Builders Ltd for our unconditional support of our beloved football club. There is a small and dwindling band of doubters out there who will never be convinced of anything other then Im the new Chris roberts (as one moderator put it).
Personally Im not interested in what they say or what they threaten to say.
Mr Merson ............... loose lips cost lifes. xx
Good luck to all on this site and I look forward to good debate which can be mature and factual.

I consider it an Honor to have our main sponsor on my forum, just sorry it took so long to sort out the problem, without people like you, prepared to money in to clubs at our level, we would struggle.
Merse has had to be gagged re mods on other sites for now anyway.
Thanks for joining
Dave R
