I have a feeling that this song is very dear to Mr Putin, who from now on shall be referred to as Vladimir.
Vladimir hankers for the past, which is why he sends his Generals to the front line like in the old days, as opposed to our Generals who will be sat in the nearest pub to Whitehall when we go to war! Also, his military tactics are straight out of a WW2 handbook.
He sees his country with all the PC/Woke crap, going down the shitter and all his hopes and dreams with it. Russia is not quite as bad as this country which has finished going down the shitter and is coming out somewhere near Hopes Nose!
Vladimir doesn’t need all the crap that he’s getting, all he needs is a comforting arm around him, a bottle of Vodka and a good old chin wag about the beautiful days that have gone by.
So to sum all that up=I think Vladimir has been misunderstood.
